Knell wholeheartedly believes that the most important aspect of being a clinician is prioritizing evidence-based, patient-centered care. This involves developing a unique plan for each patient that will most likely offer the biggest benefit. This includes a range of treatment plans, from conservative management to interventional management to surgical management, if need be.
When not at work, Knell enjoys following a myriad of sports teams including the Boston Celtics, Baltimore Ravens, Florida State Seminoles, Chelsea FC. He also enjoys trying new restaurants, hanging out with his wife and their pet dog Ember.

Knell Villarta, PA-C humbly serves as the Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at International Spine, Pain and Performance Center in Washington, D.C. and Arlington, Virginia.
Prior to PA school, he worked as a medical assistant in interventional pain management in Coral Springs, Florida where he was first introduced to the specialty. Since then, he has worked towards advancing his education and his career.
